Watercolours

Watercolours depicts over 100 watercolour artworks made between 1972 and 2016, combining painting, collage, and sculpture by Paris-based Lebanese artist Simone Fattal. These works are preceded by a discussion with the artistic director of London’s Serpentine Gallery, Hans Ulrich Obrist, in which Fattal ruminates on her childhood in Damascus, her publishing company, The Post-Apollo Press and other recurring themes that continue to inspire her long-standing affinity with the watercolour medium.
